The Church of St Bartholomew in Nonstal

As in the Church of St Nicholas in Latsch, the motif of the Descent from the Cross also recurs in the Church of St Bartholomew. The model for this was the representation of the Descent from the Cross at the Church of St James in Söles. The motif is also encountered in Hocheppan. The iconography suggests a date around 1210.
