The Church of St. Mark (St. Marx) in Laas
Site Nr. 005
The walls of this apsidial church, probably dating back to the 12th century, consist of layers of massive stone blocks. The building has a receding semi-circular apse with altered windows and a stone-framed semi-circular arch in the north. On the west side there is a walled-up square door with stone framework and two narrow circular windows are preserved on the sealed-off south side. A conspicuous cruciform opening is visible in the east gable.
